Construction of a new community storage garage in Edgemont Park Estates. Direct any questions regarding this competition to: submissions@rmcormanpark.ca Deadline for Questions: June 30th, 2026 Scope of Services The Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 is seeking bids for the construction of a new community storage garage as described in the attached engineered drawings in Edgemont Park Estates. The dimensions are 28 ft. by 65 ft., including a covered side porch that is 10 ft. by 28 ft. The Pricing Form in Appendix B includes two build outs: o Option A - Construct the External/Shell of the building. o Option B - Complete Turn-Key Construction of the building and its interior. Proponents must submit bids for both options. The Municipality reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award either option The selected Contractor will be responsible for all aspects of construction. Work notes: o The Community Association will relocate the storage shed and boulders noted on the attached engineered drawings. o The Contractor is responsible for coordinating all new work with the Owner, Edgemont Park Estates Community Association. o Contractors are to remove construction waste from the work area. o The Contractor will provide all applicable required permits including R.M. of Corman Park Building permit, electrical permits, plumbing permits, and any other applicable permits. o A certificate of comprehensive commercial general liability insurance with a minimum $2,000,000 limit of liability shall be completed, signed, and returned prior to commencement of any Work of the Contractor. The Contractor is considered the Prime Contractor and is responsible for the work of any subcontractors involved in this project. o Completion date shall be October 31, 2026. o Daily liquidated damages will be $200 per day. o Liquidated damages will be suspended between November 30, 2026 and March 31, 2027, but will resume as of April 1, 2027 if the contract is not completed.
