Renovate Laboratory Room 376 and prep Room 178 for future laboratory expansion. Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. This establishes the amount that should be reported on the Final Payment Reporting Form as part of the TSB Program. SUMMARY OF WORK a. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Iowa Advanced Technology Laboratories, 205 North Madison Street, Iowa City, IA. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated June 18, 2026. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of demolition and/or removal of identified furniture, a modular steel wall, compressed air lines, water lines, and electrical. Modifications to existing exhaust duct, fire sprinkler lines, drop ceiling, and electrical feeds. Wall patch and paint as needed. Floor epoxy coating repairs throughout the space. Some coordination with moving of furniture and specialized equipment from 1st floor.
