Replacement of five (5) windows and related work at the Municipal Building. The Commissioners of Cambridge invite qualified contractors to bid on the replacement of some windows at the historic Cambridge Municipal Building, aka "Old City Hall". The work will consist of the removal of five existing windows, purchase and installation of new windows, restoration of surrounding woodwork with "in-kind" materials, caulking and painting of any woodwork. Location- Cambridge Municipal Building, aka "Old City Hall" 307 Gay Street, Cambridge, MD, 21613 This RFP focuses specifically on the five windows in the rear 1-story section of the building and the related frames and trim work. The successful offeror will provide construction phase services for the replacement of these windows at the "Old City Hall" at 307 Gay Street, Cambridge MD. Specific areas of concern which are anticipated to be addressed with current funding include, but not be limited to: o Investigate and analyze existing conditions o Obtain required permits o Measure and order five (5) replacement windows of high-quality such as Andersen 400 Series Woodwright. The windows must meet the standards of the State Historic Preservation office.
