Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in The Dalles, Oregon. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Bid is cancelled. The City is seeking competitive bids from qualified, licensed contractors to construct a new City Facilities Building at The Dalles Library, located at 722 Court Street, The Dalles, Oregon. The work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, shop drawings, deferred submittals, trade permits, permit coordination, inspection coordination, utility coordination, site coordination, cleanup, and all related or incidental work necessary to construct a complete, code-compliant, and operational building in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City will pay building permit fees unless a Bid item expressly assigns a fee to the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for trade permits, licenses, and permit/inspection coordination unless the Contract Documents state otherwise. Qualified bids must comply with all applicable Oregon statutes and City rules. Questions. Prospective bidders must submit questions to Project Manager Facilities Supervisor Michael Kasinger via email to mkasinger@thedalles.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Prevailing Time on July 7, 2026. The City may, but is not required to, respond to questions received after that deadline. Only written addenda issued by the City may modify this ITB or the Contract Documents.
