The Carolina Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation Project is part of the (BES) Large-Scale Sewer Rehabilitation Program. The goals of the Project are to reduce the risk of the deteriorated Carolina Trunk in WZ 01 and 03 to provide reliable sewer service, and to add infrastructure for the planned future storm water separation effort to convey storm water from the upper Carolina Basin to the Willamette River. Subcontractor's Scope of Work shall be whole and complete, in accordance with the Subcontract Documents, industry standards, all applicable federal, state, and local laws, statutes, codes, rules, ordinances, and regulations. Subcontractors Scope of Work shall include any associated incidentals required per the Project Requirements unless otherwise indicated in the following Specific Clarifications, or Exclusions, Any item inferable from, or relating to the intent of, the Subcontract Documents and necessary for a complete and operable item of work, shall be considered incidental to the Work, and all related costs shall be deemed included in the Subcontract Price unless such work is expressly excluded in this Scope of Work. Scope of Work: Furnish and install complete primer and epoxy coating systems at structures MH-11, MH-12, ST-08, and ST-09. Surface preparation and substrate restoration per specs and manufacturer requirements, surface repair required for coating (bug holes, form fins, irregularities, joints, etc.). Protection of adjacent work (masking/protection from blasting, overspray, etc.). Confined space entry (Competent Person, entrance and exit procedures, equipment, emergency rescue procedures, personal protective equipment, fall protection, retrieval equipment, respiratory protection, gas monitoring, etc.). Ventilation (ensure proper ventilation for removal of accumulated gases, forced-air ventilation system, area preparation requirements, gas monitoring, etc.). Access and rigging (Competent Person for Cranes and Rigging, equipment, emergency evacuation procedures, etc.). Quality control (manufacturer's certifications and materials conformance documents, surface preparation quality control, application condition quality control, application quality control, applicator qualifications, daily application conditions records and quality control inspection reports, etc.). Cleanup, waste handling, and disposal.
