Project 26-24 for Which Proposals Are Being Sought Includes the Following Approximate Quantities: 2,200 Sf Poured in Place Rubber Playground Surface or Playground Grass System. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 26-24 Carney Park Playground Surfacing Rebid Each Proposal Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid, Payable to the City of De Pere, as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Execute a Contract and Furnish a Contract Bond as Set Forth in the General Conditions of the City of De Pere. In Case the Bidder Fails to File Such Contract and Bond, the Amount of the Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited to the City of De Pere as Liquidated Damages. The City of De Pere Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities in Bidding and to Accept Any Proposal Which the Common Council Deems Most Favorable to the Interest of the City of De Pere. Prospective Bidders Who Have Previously Submitted Such Forms Subsequent to January 1, 2026 Will Not Be Required to Separately Submit Such Forms for This Project. Such Forms Shall Be Filed With the Director of Public Works No Later Than 4:00 Pm, Monday, August 31, 2026. Each Bidder Shall Pre-qualify by Submitting Proof of Responsibility on Forms Furnished by the Director of Public Works.
