The City of Cupertino invites Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submittals from qualified professionals (Consultants) to provide as-needed arborist consulting services. The City seeks to compile a list of high-quality firms for pre-qualification to perform professional transportation consulting services for various types of development and land use projects requiring evaluation. Consultants identified as the highest qualified from this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) may be selected for individual projects or a master agreement, with initial one-year contracts and possible extensions. Services include providing pre-entitlement, post-entitlement, during construction, and post-construction arborist services, preparation and peer review of arborist reports, review of construction plans, site inspections for tree protection, reviewing tree removal applications, identifying and verifying protected tree species, evaluating tree health and risks, assessing replacement requirements, interpreting City codes, ordinances, and permit conditions, communicating accountably, adhering to timelines, and maintaining professional standards. The Arborist Consulting Scope of Services further outlines the anticipated scope of services, which may be refined during contract negotiations.
