Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Contractor shall provide all labour, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, transportation, quality control, and incidentals necessary to complete the removal of the existing timber bridge structure and for the design, supply, and installation of a new forestry bridge crossing on Hardy Road at McMillan Creek. The bridge serves a dead-end road providing access to residential properties. The Contractor shall maintain safe pedestrian access across the creek throughout the duration of the Work. All Work shall be completed in accordance with current British Columbia Ministry of Forests standards, applicable environmental regulations, WorkSafeBC requirements, and all other governing legislation and permits. The Work is to be completed in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to residents affected by the Work. Removal and disposal of the existing creek crossing structure, and design, supply and installation of a new bridge on Hardy Road, over McMillan Creek.
