Construction of a boardwalk. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond. Summary of Scope of work outlined in Contract Drawings and Details: Phase 1 : Keep driveway and roadway clear of sediment. Return any sediment to the construction site immediately. Install compost filter sock prior to any risk of runoff and maintain through duration of construction. Remove at project completion. Maintain existing parking lot in passable condition during construction. Use parking lot for laydown, storage, and parking. Restore to pre-construction condition with grading and additional gravel or asphalt millings as needed. Use existing grass pathway to the boardwalk for access. Stop machine access at the end of grass path at start of boardwalk. Restore grass pathway to pre-construction condition or better, with screened topsoil, shady seed mix, and straw mulch. Contractor is responsible for layout of boardwalk. Cut off vegetation as needed for construction access along boardwalk route. Lay material neatly aside, or remove from site. Leave stumps and herbaceous plants for regrowth. Install Phase 1 boardwalk frame and railings. Close off west end of boardwalk with railing until Phase 2 work commences.
