Description

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Upgrades on both of the station inlet channels (Sumas Drainage Canal) and discharge (Sumas River). The scope of work within this RFP includes new scour protection measures; tie into existing goosenecks for BPS drain lines to complete work below the high-water mark; replacement of the existing trash management system; replacement of the inlet trash screens; and optional efforts to replace or refurbish existing BPS isolation equipment per the findings of the condition inspection work. TIMELINE: Request for proposals from a professional, qualified and experienced company for the design, procurement support, tendering, contract administration, construction inspection and post-construction services, is underway. Further update in late 2026, upon award.
