Signal Communications Expansion Phase 3: There Are a Number of Roadways Within Nassau County Where Signal Communications Are Non-existent, Outdated, Inefficient or No Longer Operational. Other Parts of the County Have Closed Loop Signal Systems With No Communications. These Minor Arterials Have Become Heavily Traveled Roadways That Traverse Congested Residential and Commercial Areas of Nassau County. The Proposed Project Will Replace Older Outdated Twisted Pair Copper Communications and Install New Fiber Optic Communications and in Some Cases Upgrade Traffic Signal Controller Equipment to Expand the Existing Traffic Signal Communications Network.
