Under this Request for Expressions of Interest (the "RFEOI"), the City of Vancouver (the "City") is seeking expressions of interest (Expressions of Interest) from Architect-led professional consulting teams indicating their interest and presenting their qualifications to provide services for the two separate and concurrent capital projects on the City's facilities located at Spyglass Place in Vancouver, BC. The Two separate and concurrent projects are driven by the need to make way for an upcoming Cambie Street Bridge seismic upgrade. Project 1 includes a building demolition and project 2 includes a parking lot alteration. additional information will be provided to the shortlisted proponents of this RFEOI. These two capital projects are driven by the need to make way for the upcoming Cambie Street Bridge seismic upgrade Project 1 - Building Demolition: Demolish a 2-storey office building constructed in 1989, complete with a slab-on-grade structure and shallow strip foundations. The approximate building area is 15,000 sq ft; building interiors were renovated circa 2012 for office use. Project 2 - Parking Lot Alterations: Relocate a portion of a secured fenced-in parking lot further away from the bridge, including vehicle parking and several temporary prefabricated buildings and shelters, while maintaining its operational continuity.
