Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are solicited for the 2026 Road Improvement Project. The work involves furnishing all equipment and labor for, but not necessarily limited to, a 9.5MM overlay (2,581 SY at 4 locations), incidental milling, and sealing. The municipality will purchase all bituminous materials through the CoStars contract, and the contractor is responsible for hauling the materials from the Lehigh Asphalt and Construction Company asphalt plant at 25 Quarry Road, Andreas. All work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to ten percent of the bid, effective for sixty calendar days. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for the full contract amount, with an approved corporate surety. All bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed as directed in the contract documents. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and to waive immaterial defects in the bidding process.
