Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work On-Site MUST Start July 27th, 2026. Targeted Completion for the entire project is on or before August 11th, 2026 - but required completion will be based on Successful Bidder's Durations (Work Days). The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularities. Performance Bond (Section 00300) - 100% of Contract amount. 2. Statutory Bond (Section 00350) - 100% of Contract amount. 3. One Year Defect Bond (Section 00375) - 100% of Contract amount. Questions DUE for Response by Addendum: Date: Wednesday, July 1st Time: End of Day Bid Package #1: Asphalt & Striping Division 0 - Contract Requirements (All Sections Listed) Division 1 - General Requirements (All Sections Listed) 0. This Bid Package includes all new Asphalt and Striping / Markings at Locations marked on attached document: GCTC PARKING - WORK SCOPE LOCATIONS" 1. This Bid Package requires a Mandatory Pre-Bid Attendance and Site Evaluation to verify all existing conditions prior to bidding. 2. This Bid Package includes mobilizing and starting work on-site Monday, July 27 th , 2026 - WORK ONSITE MUST START ON THIS DATE AND CONTINUE TO COMPLETION ACCORDING TO DURATIONS (WORK DAYS) PROVIDED BY BIDDER ON THE BID FORM. Qualified bids will be evaluated based on Bid Amount(s) AND Durations (Work Days), see Section 00020 Solicitation for Bids for more detail. 3. Demo / Mill a minimum of 2ft out, 2-1/2" deep from all adjacent concrete and taper at all concrete tie-ins / transitions to ensure smooth transitions with no humps or trip hazards. a. Sidewalk ramps and pedestrian crossings shall have smooth asphalt transitions, no humps or trip hazards. b. Where new asphalt meets any existing concrete sidewalks or ramps demo the existing concrete to allow smooth transition from the new asphalt to exiting concrete. The intent is to have a minimum of 4-1/2" of new asphalt terminating at the existing concrete. 4. Repair all sinkholes, failed asphalt, and unsuitable subgrade prior to paving, down to 2ft below existing subgrade. Any overexcavation beyond this depth will be priced according to Unit Price #1. (See Section 01230 List of Alternates and Unit Prices) 5. Demo Existing Concrete at Campus Entry on Bus Drive (#7) prior to paving. 6. After Demo / Edge Milling / Repairs / Prepatching (back up to existing grade) - Overlay all asphalt with 2- 1/2 " of new (Compacted) Asphalt. 7. Maintain / follow existing grades and drainage patterns. Don't create new problems - specifically, no water shall be directed toward or pond against buildings or sidewalks / walkways. 8. Finished Asphalt Paving to be smooth and free of trip hazards, abrupt grade changes, and standing water. 9. Provide clean, straight sawcut pavement edges for all new Asphalt Paving. Demo patchwork as needed for clean edges. 10. Remove, paint and reinstall existing wheel stops. Add new wheel new stops to new parking spaces from revised sizes (See #11c & 11d below) a. This Bid Package does NOT include Parking Signs. b. NOTE: Reinstall wheel stops at revised spacing (See #11c & 11d below) 11. Re-stripe all parking areas including all existing lettering - replace all existing pavement markings to match existing conditions, including bus lanes, directional markings, and specialty striping. a. All Striping / Lettering in Yellow. b. Add Lettering: "NO PICKUP OR DROPOFF" in two (2) Locations on Bus Drive (#7) - Large and Visible to Drivers coming from each way. c. Parking space sizes shall all be standard (9ft Wide Center to Center of Stripes x 18ft Long) d. NOTE: Not all Existing Parking Spaces are this width. 12. Existing concrete curbs to remain. 13. Unforeseen / Concealed Conditions: This Bid Package does NOT include addressing unforeseen / concealed conditions such as unmarked underground utilities, plumbing, drainage structures, or other unforeseen / concealed subsurface conditions encountered during construction. Owner / SMS approval required prior to addressing any unforeseen / concealed conditions, if expecting additional payment.
