This Statement of Work is provided by EPWater for a project which shall be referred to as the Northwest Surface Water Treatment Plant. The project consists of planning, permitting, and design, for a new, 10-20 MGD surface water facility to treat surface water from the Rio Grande River and combine the potable water at Upper Valley Water Treatment Plant. The facility will consist of the following: planning and design for an, site improvements, pre-sedimentation basins, rapid mix and flocculation, sedimentation basins, ozonation, biologically active filters, chlorine contact basins, chemical handling facilities, finished water storage, pumping, mechanical, electrical, SCADA system, and cybersecurity coordination. The new facility will be located on land owned by EPWater adjacent to the Upper Valley Water Treatment Plant. The architecture of the new facility will match that of the adjacent treatment plant. During the preliminary engineering phase, advanced automation of the treatment plant will be evaluated.
