The City of Sarasota is seeking bids from qualified and experienced vendors to provide emergency shade sail removal services at designated City park facilities in advance of anticipated severe weather events, such as tropical storms, hurricanes, and other significant inclement weather systems. The selected Contractor shall also provide follow-on services for the reinstallation of shade sails after the severe weather event has passed and it is deemed safe by the City to reinstall the structures. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis and may require expedited response times to ensure City facilities are properly prepared and can be restored to normal operations promptly following the event. Contracts will be awarded to multiple qualified vendors.
