The project is expected to be awarded on August 10, 2026.** Fiber Optic Cable Replacement - Clearview Elementary to Administration Office Sealed, lump-sum bids are requested from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals required to remove the existing fiber optic cable and install new single-mode fiber optic cable between Clearview Elementary School at 801 Randolph Street and the District Administration Office at 403 Moul Avenue, Hanover, PA. The work includes termination, testing, and complete restoration of all affected surfaces and pathways. The successful bidder (the "Contractor") shall provide a complete, tested, and warranted fiber optic link end to end . Work includes, at minimum: Field verification of the existing aerial route, the existing messenger strand and its condition, building entrance points, and as-built conditions before ordering material. Removal and lawful disposal (or abandonment in place, at the District's direction) of the existing defective fiber and associated hardware. Furnishing and overlashing new single-mode outside-plant (OSP) fiber optic cable along the route per Section 3. Termination of all fibers at each end in rack-mountable fiber distribution enclosures. Acceptance testing of every fiber and delivery of test documentation per Section 2.7. All required overlash notifications and permits, pole-owner coordination, traffic control for aerial work, and restoration of any incidentally disturbed surfaces.
