The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The construction of +- 7.06 miles of asphalt resurfacing, including +- 4,983 tons of 9.5 mm Superpave, +- 2,297 tons of OGI leveling, deep patching, +- 23.54 LM of high build striping, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. Question Deadline 07/15/2026 To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Bleckley County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to Bleckley County for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened.
