Site work for a road / highway in Sheridan, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Project Location: Southwest corner of Bushnell St & W Si Johnson Ave Work will take place at the southwest corner of Bushnell Street and Si Johnson Avenue in the Village of Sheridan. An existing storm structure will be abandoned and two new storm sewer structures and pipe will be installed. Concrete and asphalt pavement will be removed and replaced, and the stone-base will be regraded to provide adequate surface drainage. Each proposal must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid, payable to the Village of Sheridan as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract if awarded. Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Village of Sheridan reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the Village.
