The project is for the construction of the Pacific Valley School Off-Grid Electrical System Upgrade Project according to the contract documents, including the scope of work and visual specifications. Bids must be sealed and received prior to the stated bid opening date and time. The contract may include additive or deductive items, which may be added or removed after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined. The contract time is 150 calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay will accrue. Compliance with applicable prevailing wage laws is required. All contractors or subcontractors for projects over $25,000 must be registered and qualified under the relevant Labor Code sections, and the public works contractor registration number must be provided for subcontractors performing more than 0.5% of the bid. Only contractors licensed to do business in California with a Class 10 license may bid and must maintain that license through completion and all warranty periods. Bids must be physically received by the District no later than the stated deadline; only hand delivery will be accepted. Late bids, facsimile, and electronic submissions are not accepted.
