The work consists of constructing streetside and median landscape wet-set "grouted" cobbles in approximately 80 pre-graded and pre-formed areas, each ranging from 50 to 200 square feet, along a corridor about one mile in length on various segments of McKee Boulevard and Barbara Terry Boulevard in the City of Lathrop. Bid proposals must be submitted in accordance with provided instructions and requirements. Proof of DIR Registration is mandatory for all bidders and their subcontractors. Plans and specifications must be obtained through ARC, not the City. All communications related to the City's administration of this work shall be directed to Steven Hollenbeak, Assistant Engineer at shollenbeak@ci.lathrop.ca.us, or by calling the Public Works Department at (209) 941-7430. The City of Lathrop is located in the San Joaquin Valley, 70 miles east of San Francisco, CA and has an approximate population of 40,000. The project will provide contemporary drought-resistant streetscape and reduce the City's landscape maintenance and irrigation water costs The Bidder acknowledges that the performance of work done in connection with this Contract will occur at the location(s) listed and / or described below: o Both sides and medians of McKee Blvd. from Autumn Rain Dr. to Barbara TerryBlvd. o North side only of Barbara Terry Blvd., from McKee Blvd. to Spartan Way o All medians of residential streets immediately intersecting McKee Blvd. and Barbara Terry Blvd, within the nodes described above.
