Site work for a water / sewer project in Martinsville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This is a utility extension project to support future development east of I-69. Work includes approximately 2,625 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary force main and 2,625 linear feet of 12-inch water main. The project also includes approximately 980 linear feet of 8-inch water main and 1,025 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer as mandatory alternates. Each bid must include a completed and executed proposal form, Form 96 (State Board of Accounts), bidder's financial statement (if required by Form 96), bid bond or certified check (5% of bid amount), E-Verify affidavit, and the bidder's written plan for a program to test employees for drugs in accordance with IC 4-13-18. Before commencing work, the successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to the contract price, and certificates of insurance as required in the specifications. All bonds and liability insurance shall remain in effect for twelve months following completion and owner acceptance of construction. Bidders must comply with all applicable state requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and select the lowest, responsible, and responsive bidder.
