Renovation of a power facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The project is to replace heating plant chillers at the University at Albany, State University of New York. The Contractor shall complete all work necessary for substantial completion within 737 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Fund's project specific goals are 12% MBE, 8% WBE, and 3% SDVOB participation. All bidders must submit bids in duplicate according to the instructions in the Information for Bidders, with security required for each bid in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. Each bid must be identified on the outside of the envelope with the name and address of the bidder and designated as a bid for this project. When a bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the outer jacket must be clearly marked "BID ENCLOSED." Contractors are to visit the specified website and download the "Bid and Post Bid Checklist." Participation by minority/women's business enterprises is encouraged, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Fund reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
