Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Monroe, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The project consists of a multi-level structure to support variable training exercises practiced by the fire department. The work shall be completed in one phase and includes coordinating with the Union County Facilities Department for access, delivery, and installation. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum basis as set forth in the bid form. Bidders are required to provide a non-collusion affidavit as set forth in the bidding documents. Union County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and may also reject a bidder after inquiry and evaluation if found not to be responsible, or if it is believed not to be in the best interest of the project. The owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities and technicalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder as allowed by law.
