Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Lilesville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and multi-residential development.

All questions must be submitted to Matthew Rea, Construction Project Manager. mrea@centralina.org Town of Lilesville, NC is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Demolition and removal of an existing 1,640 square foot- 2 story home and the building of an approximately 1,640 square foot ADA-compliant home. Proposed Floor Plan Provided. This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The project also includes Removal and disposal of an existing home. Provision of temporary storage (POD unit) for the resident. The contractor shall provide turnkey services including Demolition and removal of existing structure (separate bid item) Construction of a new single level home. ADA/Section 504 compliance Site preparation and utility disconnections and re connections. Permitting and inspections. POD storage unit (separate bid item) Development of architectural plans for new home. The work involves demolition and construction at 307 Fifth St., Lilesville, NC, to update the property in compliance with the Housing Construction Program standards. Bids are invited for either construction of a new stick-built home or installation of a modular home, including all associated demolition, labor, and materials as described in the Work Write-Up. Bidders may submit for one or both options, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and approved bidder, pending homeowner approval. The process includes required virtual meetings and weekly virtual inspections. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form, with all documentation complete, and marked appropriately. The Owner and/or Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive formalities. The winning contractor may request negotiation or withdraw the bid if not notified to proceed within sixty days of the bid opening date. All work must comply with federal and local Equal Opportunity Employment regulations.
