This project provides for the replacement of the existing Key West Lift Station off of Gateway Dr. The new lift station will be located near the existing lift station. The existing lift station was constructed in 1989 and is nearing the end of its expected useful life. The existing lift station has been identified by maintenance staff as being in need of replacement, incurring extraneous maintenance costs to maintain service. The existing lift station cannot be upgraded within the constraints of the existing structure and accommodate existing and future flow within the service area limits. The existing lift station will be removed upon completion of the new lift station, force main, and gravity sewer. The project is included in the City's 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
