The City of Midlothian and the Midlothian Community Development Corporation (City/MCD) is seeking qualified parties interested in the sale and development of approximately 12.4 acres located behind the Courtyard Marriott Hotel to 14th Street, Midlothian, TX. The City/MCD is seeking Respondents to provide pricing and unique, family-friendly, food and entertainment ideas for the development of this property to attract more visitors and residents to the Midlothian Conference Center, Courtyard Marriott Hotel, and City. The City/MCD may also entertain retail shops, restaurants, entertainment, and other destination activities that will draw more individuals to visit this area. Deadline for questions will be Friday, July 24, 2026, and responses to questions will be released by Friday, July 31, 2026. All questions and answers will be posted to the City website. Note: Any changes to this RFQ will be by ADDENDA and will be posted to the City website. The City/MCD also reserves the right to purchase through state awarded contracts or other intergovernmental agreements when it is in the best interest of the City/MCD.
