Upgrade of UV disinfection system including selective demolition of existing chlorination equipment, structural modifications to chlorine contact tank, installation of UV system, disc filter system, davit crane, sluice gates, new tank canopy, electrical power and controls, and yard piping relocation. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Maintenance Bond required (unspecified amount). The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. Coordination with OWNER to maintain full operation of the plant during construction including bypass pumping while maintaining complete chlorination and dichlorination of effluent; selective demolition of existing chlorination equipment; structural demolition and modifications to existing chlorine contact tank including platforming, grating, and handrails; installation of new drain line inside tank including piping and valving; installation of equipment including UV disinfection system, disc filter system, davit crane, and sluice gates; installation of electric actuators for existing yard valves; relocation of yard piping if and where directed; installation of new tank canopy including foundations; all electrical work including power and controls; testing and system startup; site cleaning and restoration; and contract closeout documentation.
