The City of Lone Jack is soliciting bids for street resurfacing and reconstruction services for the 2026 construction season. The project includes asphalt micro surfacing, full-depth patching, and crack seal on designated streets. Bid items shall be priced separately and correspond to the Bid Sheet. The City reserves the right to add or subtract streets and quantities up to 25% to meet the project budget. All bidders must purchase plans and specifications through Great River Engineering and be on the planholder list in order to bid. All bids must be submitted as a hard copy. This contract requires payment of the prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2025 Edition, including all revisions. Contractors and sub-contractors must provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar, to be completed within sixty days of beginning work on the project. A certified cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. No second-tier subcontracting will be allowed. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 0%.
