Approximately 75 sf of limited demolition and new construction of a single-fixture preschool toilet room within an existing lower-level classroom. A/E is Ai3/Griffith & Vary with design at 95%. In accordance with M.G.L. c149, the City of Watertown is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for Lowell Elementary School Classroom Toilet Construction. Qualified contractors are requested to submit proposals to the Procurement Department, Watertown City Hall in accordance with the instructions contained within the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. The City of Watertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the City.
