This Request for Proposals ("Request for Proposals" or "RFP") is an invitation by Centre Block Phase 1 Joint Venture ("CB1 - JV") on behalf of Surrey City Development Corporation ("SCDC"), the City of Surrey ("City"), and Simon Fraser University ("SFU") and their respective affiliates to prospective proponents ("Proponents") to submit proposals ("Proposals") for the provision of Commissioning Authority ("CxA") consulting services for the Phase 1 Building of the Centre Block development in the City of Surrey for a mixed use building that will include a school of medicine (the "Project"). The CxA will serve as the independent commissioning professional for the Project, responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing the commissioning process from CxA Onboarding through to Post Construction.
