Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Full replacement of the two existing corroded galvanized steel cooling towers on the roof next to the Fifth Floor Mechanical Penthouse at the Haymarket Center, 136 Blackstone Street Boston, Massachusetts 02109, with new stainless steel cooling towers of the same capacity. Provisions for new cooling system for the mechanical penthouse and exhaust ventilation system for the generator room adjacent to the cooling towers, augmenting the existing system. The above work is anticipated to be performed in a phased approach during the off-peak cooling season to limit disruption to the building's operations whereby one (1) cooling tower shall remain in operation at all times.
