The Work under the Contract at the Sargent & Thomson Elementary Schools consists of 1. SARGENT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - Furnishing all labor and materials for the replacement of all membrane roofing, as shown drawings, with new modified bitumen roofing system, including but not limited to the following a. Remove and dispose existing ballast stone, EPDM roofing membrane, edge metal flashing, cant strips, roof drain assemblies, etc. NOTE WELL: Do NOT remove existing XPS Board & Gypsum Cover Board. Remove and dispose of all rooftop debris prior to commencing work. b. Supply and install new roof insulation layer in a staggered pattern along the field, set with mechanical fasteners. c. Supply and install new cover board on top of polyiso insulation with low-rise foam adhesive. d. Supply and install new modified bitumen high performance built-up roof system in cold process, metal flashing, coping caps, miscellaneous caulking and damproofing necessary to satisfactorily complete the entire work as shown on the drawings. e. Supply and installation of 24 LF of 2x wood nailers at parapets to match existing as directed by the architect. f. Supply and installation of new prefabricated roof hatch and OSHA compliant fixed steel ladder including all related steel framing reinforcement, fasteners, cricket, cutting & patching existing metal roof deck, etc. Flat Roof Replacement at the Thomson & Sargent Elementary Schools for the Town of North Andover.
