Renovation of a conference / convention center in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Project includes labor, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and services required to manufacture, deliver, and complete a comprehensive in-truss modernization of two 40-inch-wide escalators located in a parallel arrangement. Furnish and install a built front-of-house access barrier to shield the work zone and restrict public access. Electrical work includes reuse of existing feeders and conduits as well as new installation of new feeders and conduits, replacement of motors, drives, disconnect switches, truss pit lighting, controllers, service receptacles, and smoke detectors. Selective demolition of existing ceilings and walls is required to install new, all as more fully set forth in the Drawings and Notes.
