The County of Sacramento Department of Airports is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified entities to serve as construction manager at-risk for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Taxiways A, A3, and A13 at the Sacramento International Airport. The selected firm will join the project team, collaborating with the Department's Project Manager and Consultant Designer to provide input on scheduling, phasing, constructability, cost estimating, value engineering, and plan review throughout the design phase. The Construction Manager must prepare and submit one or more guaranteed maximum prices (GMPs) covering labor, equipment, and materials for the project. The contract will include a fee for preconstruction services and set a process for establishing a GMP for the construction phase. If GMPs are not accepted, the contract may be terminated after preconstruction. Minimum requirements include the ability to provide bonds and insurance, holding a current and valid Class A California Contractors License, and registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations.
