This project is for the award of up to two separate Job Order Contracts (JOCs) for work that includes repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, and demolition performed on buildings, offices, facilities, structures, infrastructure, or other real property. Each contract may have a maximum value of $6,402,606 and a duration of twelve months. A JOC is a competitively bid, unit price, indefinite quantity contract awarded to a prime contractor. Specific work is accomplished through the issuance of individual Job Orders under these contracts. Contractors must possess a Class A Contractor's license at the time the contract is awarded. The contractor is required to utilize The Gordian Group’s Job Order Contracting Solution, including the JOC Information Management System, construction cost data, and Construction Task Catalog, pay a 1% JOC System License Fee, and comply with all specified requirements. All bids must be accompanied by a $25,000 bid security, a $250,000 payment bond, and a $250,000 performance bond. Compliance with prevailing wage laws and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations is mandatory for all contractors and subcontractors. Bids must conform to the requirements and conditions set forth in the Bid Book, Drawings, Specifications, and other contract documents. The Public Works Director reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities.
