Site work and paving for a civil project in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Division A - North Ridge Drive improvements consist of 30" tangent pile wall with alternating reinforced steel HP 10 x 42 reinforced concrete shafts for primary pilings, drilled 10 feet into bedrock and 30" concrete shafts, drilled 10 feet into bedrock for secondary pilings, as per the geotechnical design. Total Wall length is approximately 245 feet. Minor drainage improvements will be constructed to outfall through the secondary pilings. Roadway will be widened to 18 feet wide typical with curb along the north side of the road. Division B - Overhill Drive improvements consist of undercut excavation to address unsuitable subgrade conditions due to a storm event, followed by backfill operations utilizing 304 Aggregate Base materials in accordance with project specifications. Topsoil, seeding, and Erosion Control Mat will be added to encourage vegetative growth and deter erosion. Upon completion of subgrade remediation, full-depth restoration of the roadway section will be performed to match existing line, grade, and cross-section. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Ohio Prevailing Wage Law (ORC Chapter 4115) applies to this project. Contractor compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project.
