Renovation of a water / sewer project in Reno, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is soliciting qualifications from engineering firms to provide design services for the replacement of the water-cooled chiller and cooling tower systems at the UNR - Howard Medical Sciences building. Equipment will be of similar capacity as existing with associated pumps, controls, and piping between components to be replaced. This system replacement will include code compliance renovations to the existing space, to include but not limited to: fire rating of existing assemblies, exterior openings for updated ventilation and exhaust requirements, & relocation of existing equipment no longer acceptable in the space.
