The City of Glendale (City) is embarking on one of the most significant public safety investments in its history: the development of a next-generation Police Department Crime Laboratory Facility that will serve as a scientific backbone of justice in our community. This facility will not simply be a building - it will be a mission-critical environment where science, technology, and public trust intersect. Every program will be dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the evidence and providing a professional space for objective analysis. Design decisions will influence the speed, accuracy, and reliability of forensic investigations for decades to come. The City is seeking a qualified Architectural Design Professional (DP) firm to provide programming, design, engineering, cost estimating, permit new Crime Laboratory Facility. All qualified firms interested in providing the required services are invited to submit their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Firms must demonstrate their experience with advanced forensic laboratory facilities and SOQs must comply with all requirements specified in this RFQ. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
