Billings School District No. 2 would appreciate your quotation for Overhead Sprinkler Service for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. General specifications for these services are attached but are not meant to be a substitute for quality, professional services meeting industry standard. A quotation form is included for your use. This is not a formal bid process so you are encouraged to submit any other material or information besides pricing which you may feel is pertinent to consideration of your quotation. The School District reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any quotation received. The School District reserves the right to shorten the length of services at prices submitted or extend them up to four years as stated in the specifications at its sole discretion. It is recognized by the owner that there may be some parts affected by obsolescence, misuse of the equipment, vandalism whether intentional or not. These items shall be the responsibility of the owner and will be negotiated with the contractor in a fair manner. The contractor should note that this specification is a minimum specification and any additional labor, parts, or conditions that may be necessary to keep the overhead sprinklers in a first-class condition will be negotiated. It should be noted that this is a lump sum type of contract and will be awarded based on the total annual contract price for all units. Please note that during the billing process the contractor may be requested to break down the individual cost for various buildings for our accounting purposes only. The school system will not accept proposals with exclusion, additions, or special conditions not outlined in this overall specification. Current Certificate of Insurance must be maintained at all times with insurance levels satisfactory to the District. (See attached Master Contractor Agreement for all insurance requirements). The School District reserves the right to cancel services at anytime due to unsatisfactory services as deemed by the District.
