Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Runge, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project consists of the construction of a new single story office building for karnes county, Texas The Work consists of, but is not limited to: erosion control, site clearing, excavation, fill, select fill and backfill; site utilities; concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, asphalt paving (see Alternate No. 1), rough and finish grading, and topsoil; drilled concrete piers, concrete foundation, wood framing, including wood interior walls and pre-engineered wood roof trusses; exterior stone veneer; exterior board and batten siding and wood soffit panels; miscellaneous metals and metal fabrications; rough and finish carpentry, millwork and casework; dampproofing and waterproofing, caulking and sealants, thermal insulation, flashing and sheet metal, metal roof panels; hollow metal doors and frames, plastic laminated wood doors, aluminum doors and frames, aluminum windows, bullet-resistant window units, glass and glazing, finish architectural hardware; gypsum drywall, acoustical ceilings, luxury vinyl tile, ceramic tile walls and base, carpeting, vinyl base, painting and finishing; interior and exterior signage, metal louvers, miscellaneous specialties (including bullet-resistant wall panels); and mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and electrical systems. The Owner reserves the right to hold all proposals for up to, and including, sixty (60) days from date of receipt without action, to reject any and all proposals, to waive irregularities and to require statements of evidence of offerors qualifications, including financial statements. Statutory Bonds for performance of the contract and for payment of mechanics and materials will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum, in accordance with Texas Government Code Ch. 2253. Proposal Surety is required in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the proposal. Question Deadline 07/17/2026 Requests for interpretations, etc. must be received on or before seven (7) days prior to the date set for receipt of Proposals. All interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by DRG Architects, LLC and approved by the Owner.
