Imperial Irrigation District (IID) is requesting proposals from highly qualified respondents to implement a phased maintenance approach to an existing dust control project within the Alamo South Planning Area. The scope of work includes implementing Phase 1 of the Alamo South Maintenance project, which consists of earthworks (including sand fence removal, surface roughening collapsing, and access route preparation), and the procurement and installation of approximately 35,620 straw bales at the Salton Sea. Instructions to bidders: There will be a mandatory meeting and jobwalk for all potential respondents. Only those present and signed in before the official start of the meeting will be allowed to submit a proposal. Attendance at the entire mandatory meeting is required. Closed toe shoes are required for attendance at the jobwalk. Questions concerning the proposal must be directed in writing to the purchasing agent by the specified deadline.
