Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Charlottesville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Project: Townwood Water Main Replacement Project. All work shown on Drawings and/or called for in these Specifications shall be performed under the General Contract, unless specifically noted to the contrary in the Contract Documents. The project includes, however is not limited to: 2,900 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, including associated interconnections, hydrants, meter installations, appurtenances, abandonment of existing water main, and reconnection of existing water services. A portion of the new water main replacement shall require installation and removal of a temporary water bypass system and temporary services. New water main shall be zinc-coated ductile iron pipe with polyethylene encasement along Townwood Drive, Townwood Court, and Cool Spring Road in the Townwood townhome community in Charlottesville, Virginia. Question Deadline 07/30/2026 Questions concerning the project should be addressed to Mr. Keane Rucker, P.E., Civil Engineer, of the Albemarle County Service Authority at the above address and must be received no later than seven (7) calendar days preceding the date of "Bid Opening". Completion-270 calendar days
