Site work and new construction of a library in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a library.
The bidder is responsible for reviewing bidding requirements and forms to ensure complete, safe, and coordinated execution of the work package being quoted. Pricing must include applicable portions of related specification sections normally associated with the work to be performed, whether specifically indicated or not. If unclear about the scope of work, the bidder must contact the Construction Manager for resolution before bidding. In the absence of written instruction, bidders must include the more costly and complete interpretation of any specification or scope ambiguity. Awarding of Trade Contracts will be based on the best qualified bid. The awarded trade contractor is responsible for obtaining and paying for their own plans and specifications, including those costs in the bid. Substitution requests must be submitted for review at least 10 days prior to the bid date. Submit sealed bids as outlined, including the bid form, a bid bond of 5% for bids over $50,000, costs for payment and performance bonds if the total bid exceeds $50,000, and all required attachments. All bid package requirements are to be incorporated into the executed contract agreement, including all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and incidentals necessary for a complete and proper execution of the work. All work must comply with plans, specifications, codes, and governing authorities, and be performed to high standards, with required coordination, scheduling, submittals, quality control, and safety compliance. Daily project cleanup, participation in meetings, and timely submission of closeout documents are required. Tax exemption applies, and contractors must file daily reports. Liquidated damages apply for delays. Trade contractors must comply with all requirements of the Storm Water Prevention Plan, safety policies, and provide all required bonds and insurance. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to: Keaton Bushyhead kbushyhead@crossland.com
