The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials , equipment, skills, and performing all operations required to fully construct the Work. The Work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization and demobilization; traffic and pedestrian control to perform the work; furnishing, installing, maintaining, and removing erosion controls facilities including, but not limited to, construction entrance, sediment logs, silt fence, and inlet protection; relocation of gas lines (2) and meter ( 1 ); sawcutting and disposing of curb and gutter; sawcutting, removing, and disposing of asphalt and concrete pavement; removal of topsoil; salvage and onsite placement of topsoil ; removal of fencing and fencing appurtenances; disposing of removed materials; remove, salvage, and reinstall retaining wall; constructing new retaining wall, constructing permeable paver parking lot; constructing concrete curb and gutter; cast-in-place concrete and reinforcement; installation of heat coils and mechanical system with controls for heated pavement, including commissioning and owner operations support; painted pavement markings; installation of decorative fencing and gates; installation of EV charging stations and electrical service; site restoration; all as provided for in the Bidding Documents. The overall scope of the Work which is more fully described in these Contract Documents includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to: 1 . 2. Mobilize and demobilize labor, equipment, materials, and temporary facilities. Perform any required site preparation including clearing and grubbing, including removal and proper disposal of all materials from the site. 3. Furnish, install , and maintain erosion control features. 4. Perform traffic control (drivers and pedestrians) within and around active construction sites. Maintain access for District staff to office and all secondary structures. 5. Locate and protect all existing underground utilities. 6. Protect all existing trees, raingardens, permeable pavement, light poles, building foundations and siding, and pavements. 7. Perform any site preparation required, including removal and proper disposal of pavement, subbase, and other materials from the site. 8. Perform earthwork for permeable pavers, sidewalks, and concrete slabs. 9. Furnish and install storm sewer. 10. Furnish and install EV charging station and associated electrical service. 11 . Furnish and install hydronic piping and pumps, complete and fully operational mechanical system to heat pavements. System shall include automated controls and District staff shall be trained in its operation. substantially complete on or before November 15, 2026 . General Conditions not later than two (2) calendar weeks after the date for Substantial Completion of the Work in accordance with paragraph 8.03 above Question Deadline 07/17/2026 potential Bidder shall submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation or clarification thereof . The Bidder submitting the request shall be responsible for prompt delivery. Interpretations and clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such requests will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Contract Documents . Requests received less than three (3) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bid.
