Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for paving for a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Paving project involving precast concrete modular crossing installation. Site Visit: A non-mandatory site visit will be held at 2:00 p.m., July 08, 2026. The meeting location will be at Clear Highway Crossing located at ARRC MP 392.9. in Clear, Alaska. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to the meeting location. Attendees should plan on being at the meeting location by 1:45 p.m. A representative of ARRC will conduct a safety briefing and will provide an escort onto ARRC property for the site visit (no base access required for this visit). Hardhats, safety vests, protective footwear, and safety glasses will be required, and must be supplied by attendees. This is not a mandatory meeting, although interested firms are encouraged to participate. Interested parties should pre-register by July 7, 2026. Please contact Sarah Wallace at wallaces@akrr.com to register. The Alaska Railroad, Corp. (ARRC) is requesting contractor support for traffic control , grading, paving, and striping work within its Right-Of-Way (ROW) in the area of Clear Space Force Station. The ARRC is paving 50 feet on each side of an upgraded crossing. The work will require the installation and removal of a temporary, single lane shoofly detour on the north side of the crossing. Contractor will be responsible for all work associated with the detour except for the installation of the temporary crossing timbers. Railroad ballast must be protected from contamination during the construction, use, and removal of the detour. ARRC will provide geotextile material for the contractors use in protecting the ballast. The work involved in this project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following activities: Contractors shall provide grading, paving and traffic control support as required for the repair of the Clear Highway crossing. Clear Highway is located at ARRC MP 392.9. Currently the project is scheduled to start early August 2026. Contractor may begin acquiring required permits upon receipt of the NTP. ARRC Coordination The Contractor must coordinate with the Project Manager for daily operations, access to the physical project site, for the delineation of the Contractor equipment staging area(s), to coordinate the movement of assets with their respective tenants and train schedule and coordination, prior to beginning each day's shift. Contractor is to bid the work as if ARRC equipment will not be available to support the Work outlined herein. The Contractor will provide any and all on-track equipment necessary to complete the Work. The following ARRC Standard Drawings shall be used as reference, in addition to the Special Provisions outlined herein and the Plans. ARRC Standard Drawings attached to this solicitation include: 1. Precast Concrete Modular Crossing Standard Plan(s) ARRC Operations Unless otherwise specified, the contractor will complete all work and furnish all materials.. The contractor shall coordinate all work activities with ARRC personnel for operational support and construction windows in accordance with subsection 107-1.08.
