Renovation of an educational facility in Mineral Wells, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
3.9.1. Carefully remove existing book cases and save for reuse. (Owner to remove all books prior to vendor removing them from the walls. 3.9.2. Provide and install carpet protector during construction. Remove at the end of each shift. 3.9.3. Demo existing metal wall with glass panels. 3.9.4. Demo existing 4 covebase. 3.9.5. Carefully remove parts of the ACT ceiling grid and tile to allow for the new bulkheads to be built and fastened out to the structural steel above so the new aluminum storefront doors can fasten to. 3.9.6. Provide and install 3 5/8 metal framing in all areas as needed. 3.9.7. Provide and install 3 batt insulation in all new walls and run full height for sound. 3.9.8. Provide and install wood blocking as needed to remount the existing bookcases and both sets of aluminum storefront doors. 3.9.9. Provide and install all new drywall and zip bead. 3.9.10. Finish and paint all new drywall. (Color to be determined by Owner.) 3.9.11. Tie existing ACT ceiling grid and tile back along new bulkheads.
