The Work to be done under the Contract consists of improvements to Kilcona Dog Park at the intersection of Lagimodiere Boulevard and Springfield Road in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The major components include protection of existing wood fencing and trees; removal of sod, topsoil, subgrade, and asphalt as required; relocation and installation of benches and waste bins; earthwork and grading, including erosion control; construction of accessible entrances and vestibules with wood fencing; construction of 1.8m high chain link fences, access gates, wooden information kiosks, and metal signage; construction of granular walking trails and installation of mulch trails; placement of tree pits and supply and installation of trees; installation of sodding; mowing of new walking trails; and a two-year landscape maintenance period. The Services must comply with the City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy and Universal Design Policy.
