The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, insurance, bonds, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform complete demolition of the structures at 24 and 26 East Main Street and restore the site to a clean, graded, erosion-controlled condition ready for future construction. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following Demolition and Site Clearance Full demolition and removal of all buildings , including the basement at 26 East Main Street, all foundations, floors (including dirt floors and brick floors), walls , roofs, stairs, interior partitions, and all above-grade and below-grade elements as generally described in the Pond Report and existing conditions drawings. Complete removal of all existing mechanical , electrical , and plumbing equipment, fixtures, piping, ductwork, conduit, and service entrances. Backfill of all excavations (including basement) with approved compacted structural fill or granular material to surrounding finished grades, as directed by the City/DDA or its representative. No voids or settlement-prone areas shall remain. Site clearing, final grading to match surrounding grades, and installation of erosion and sediment control measures (silt fence, straw bales, seeding/mulching, or as otherwise approved) sufficient to stabilize the site until redevelopment begins. Complete demolition and site clearance services for existing structures, including utility disconnection and capping, hazardous materials handling, debris removal, site grading, erosion control, and restoration of sidewalks, curbs, and public right-of-way.
