Removal and replacement of existing ball field dugouts at John Walter Smith Park. The last date/time for questions will be noon on July 29, 2026. Questions must be addressed in writing to the Worcester County Procurement Officer at purchasing@worcestermd.gov The County is seeking bids from qualified Vendors the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, electrical work, and appurtenances necessary for the complete, and in-place, satisfactory construction and testing of all work shown on the Contract Drawings and requirement by the Contract for Worcester County Department of Recreation & Parks (JWS Dugout Replacement Project) in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation All permits are to be obtained by contractor. Contractor is responsible for demolishing and disposing of existing dugouts and concrete on Field 5,6,7. 3. (6) Dugouts should be installed according to manufacturers specifications in existing locations on field 5,6, 4. and 7 at John Walter Smith Park. Dugouts should be purchased through Dugouts USA, model number ST1030N. Dugouts should be black powder-coated frames with a green metal roof. 10' by 30'. New Concrete pads should be installed 4 inches (") thick, 12 feet (') by 36', 4000 PSI, broom finish. 5. Dugouts will need to be wrapped with 2" mesh, 9 gauge (.148 core), black thermally coated steel chain link fabric. Fabric should be attached directly to dugout posts using 4" by 4" fence clamps and wrap the entire dugout except for player access on the end closest to the pedestrian access gate and the front of the dugout. Benches to be furnished and installed in each dugout should be three (3) Elite dugout benches from Beacon Athletics. Colors should be gray/black.
